- W2376281795 abstract "2,6,9,13-Tetramethyl-2,12-tetradecadien-7-yne-6,9-diol(Ⅰ),dimer of dehydrolinalool(Ⅱ),exists in the residuum formed in the stripping process of dehydrolinalool.Both Ⅰ and Ⅱ can be converted into 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one and C2H2 in the presence of concentrated solution of KOH or NaOH at 103～142 ℃ under atomspheric pressure.When the reaction proceeded at 122～127 ℃ for 5 h with the residuum(containing 60.1% of Ⅰ and 33.6% of Ⅱ) and 50% KOH solution in weight ratio 15∶1,the yield and purity of 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one were 94.3% and 92.1%,respectively.Mechanism of the reaction is discussed." @default.
