- W2376495399 abstract "Objective To evaluate the value of MSCT for lung density measurement in forecasting diagnosis of COPD with testing of clinical pulmonary function.Materials and Methods The MSCT chest CT scanning was performed between the 40 patients clinical diagnosed with COPD and 26 healthy volunteers as comparison group to measure and calculate the 1ung density of the relevant indicators,and analyze the pertinence between 1ung density and indicators of clinical lung function.The accuracy and sensitivity of every indicator in 1ung density on forecasting diagnosis and screening COPD patients by using ROC curve method were evaluated.Results There were significant differences between the healthy group and the COPD group on the full expiration average lung density (ALDex),the full inspiration average lung density (ALDin),ALDex/ALDin,ALDex ALDin and the ratio of the change of 1ung density (P0.05).There was correlation between pulmonary quantitative density indexes of MSCT and PFT.The ALDex showed best correlation with FEVl%and FEV1/FVC (r=0.600,0.759,P0.001).The most appropriate critical point of the full expiration average lung density (ALDex),the full inspiration average lung density (ALDin),ALDex/ALDin,ALDex ALDin and the ratio of change of 1ung density forecasting COPD were -865,-769,-84,0.90,0.098 respectively.The Youden's indexes were 0.73,0.42,0.709,0.709,0.709 respectively.Among the indexes,the critical point of the full expiration average lung density (ALDex) was the most accuracy in forecasting diagnosis.When it was applied to diagnosing the pathological changes of COPD,the diagnosis sensitivity was 79.3%,the diagnosis specificity was 93.7% and the Youden's index was 0.73.Conclusion MSCT has very close relation with the indicator of clinical lung functional tests,which can be used to evaluate the lung function indicator conveniently and accurately.The critical point of density index can be used in forecasting diagnosis and screening COPD patients and has very high clinical application value." @default.
