- W2376702925 abstract "Objective To investigate the change of drug resistance spectrum of bacteria isolates in the hospital from 2004 to 2009 for reasonable use of antibiotics.Methods Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of clinical isolates was carried out by means of Vitek-60 system or Kirby-Bauer(KB) and results were analyzed by WHONET5.5.Results Of 22 005 clinical isolates,gram negative bacilli and gram positive cocci accounted for 72.7% and 27.3% within the six years.The detection rates of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococci(MRSA and MRCNS) were respectively 59.7%～67.0% and 67.3%～85.0%.No strains of Staphylococci were resistant to vancomycin.In Enterococcus spp,the resistance rates of E.faecalis strains to most tested drugs were lower than those of E.faecium.The detection rates of vancomycin-resistant E.faecalis and E.faecium were respectively 0～2.4% and 3.0%～6.1%.The rates of E.coli strains producing extended spectrum beta-lactamase(ESBLs) rose from 46.0% to 63.4%;those of Klebsiella spp were between 32.6% and 42.7%.Strains of Enterobacteriaceae were still highly susceptible to imipenem and meropenem.The resistance rates were lower than 1% on average.P.aeruginosa,A.baumannii,S.maltophilia were the three familiar kinds of non-fermentative gram negative bacilli.The resistance rates of P.aeruginosa and S.maltophilia to most tested drugs were lower than 30% on average.The resistance rate of A.baumannii was ascending and the resistance rate to imipenem and meropenem was respectively 17.9% and 16.5%.Conclusions The resistance rate of various types of bacteria to testing antibiotics fluctuated slightly in the six years.Attention should be paid to the growing multiple drug-resistant strains and the increasing resistance of gram-negative bacteria to the third and fourth generation cephalosporin." @default.
