- W2376843221 abstract "Objective To observe the effect of new-style diet intervention on the biological and blood biochemical indicators in patients with metabolic syndrome(MS).Methods 84 MS patients underwent diet intervention using new energy evaluation method and food exchange method.Nutritious elements(carbohydrate,protein and fat),total energy,biological and blood biochemical indicators(body mass,body mass index,waistline,waist-to-hip ratio,fasting blood glucose,2hPG,TC,TG,HDL-C,and LDL-C) were measured before and after treatment.Another 57 MS patients who were treated with nothing were regarded as the control group.Results The nutritious elements and total energy in the two groups were similar to each other before treatment(P0.05).Most indicators in the diet intervention group were significantly lower after treatment than in the control group and before treatment(P0.05～0.01).Biological and blood biochemical indicators in the two groups were similar before treatment(P0.05);however,most indicators were significantly lower after treatment compared to before treatment.In addition,some indicators(body mass index,waistline,waist-to-hip ratio,fasting blood glucose,2hPG,and TC) in the diet intervention group were significantly lower than in the control group after treatment(P0.05～0.01).Conclusion A new-style diet intervention may remarkably improve the biological and blood biochemical indicators in MS patients." @default.
