- W2377032068 abstract "Objective:To conduct research on bone mineral density(BMD) in healthy mongolian people group in inner mongolia.To provide basic data for osteoporosis diagnostic criteria by defining the peak of bone mass and disclosing its change with age in inner mongolia.Methods:901 healthy mongolia women and men in inner mongolia,all aged from 20 to 79,every 10-year-old age as a group,subdivided by sex.Measuring the BMD value of the 2nd、3rd、4th finger of the non-habitual hand with the metriscanTM bone density system provided by alara company.Take three fingers average bone mineral density as the final BMD value.Statistical analysis was using by the SPSS11.0.Results:mongolia women peak bone mass appears in the age of 30～ 39 and men peak bone mass appears in the age of 40～49.The inner mongolia women loss bone mass of 15.01% in the age of 60～69,loss bone mass of 21.09% in the age of 70～79.Inner mongolia men loss bone mass of 11.04% in the age of 70～79.The peaks of bone mass for male and female mongolian were 0.3994g/cm3 respectirely and 0.3776g/cm3.Bone mineral density values of male were higher than female in all ages(P0.05).Conclusion:Radiographic absorptiometry measurement of peak bone mass and the law of bone loss in healthy mongolia were consistent with the epidemiological incidence of osteoporosis previously reported.The results provide data and information for further researches on bone." @default.
