- W2377119630 abstract "The eclogite was found in the Neoproterozoic granitic gneiss on Shaliuhe, in the north margin of Qaidam basin. It occurres in shape of structural pudding wedging body, and mainly composes of garnet, omphatic and rutile etc.. The compositions of garnets include 38%～44% almandine, 22%～23% grossular and 31%～38% pyrope molecules, the omphacite contains 35%～38% jadeite. The metamorphism can be divided into three stages: the first stage may be epidote-amphibolite facies, the mineral assemblage is epidote+ hornblende, which is residual in the garnet. The second stage is eclogite facies, the peak metamorphic minerals are omphacite+ garnet+ rutile. Calculated with Grt-Omp geothermometer, the temperature is～730 ℃ and the pressure is over 1.6 Gpa, this stage represent the intensively period. The last stage is high-amphibolite facies, formed augite+ plagioclase+ hornblende mineral assemblage, the temperature is ～670 ℃ and the pressure is 0.3～0.5 Gpa, it is result of the crust rapidly rising. The U-Pb zircon age of eclogite is (484±3) Ma, it may be not yielding age of Shaliuhe eclogite, it represent the other thermal-tectonic event. All the data mentioned above prove that the northern margin of Qaidam Basin is an Neoproterozoic-early Paleozoic collision zone of high pressure metamorphism." @default.
