- W2377335237 abstract "Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture at Mingmen point on OPG / RANKL signaling of femur in postmenopausal osteoporosis rats. Methods 4- 5 month female SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group( Sham), model group( OVx), electroacupuncture Mingmen group( GV4), electroacupuncture non- acupoint group( Mock). Except for the sham group,the rats were performed ovariectomized( ovariectomy,OVx) to induced the model of postmenopausal osteoporosis. After the models were prepared,rats from different group were performed relatively treatment. After 3 courses of treatment,bone miner density,biomechanics and OPG / RANKL signaling by different method. Results staining results suggested electroacupuncture at Mingmen point can significantly improve the morphological changes of osteoporosis in ovariectomized rats. And electroacupuncture at Mingmen point could improve the maximum load and fracture load,as well as the bone density( P 0. 01); Immunohistochemical results suggest that electroacupuncture at Mingmen point can activate the OPG /RANKL signaling pathway. Conclusion Electroacupuncture at Mingmen point can improve the effect of bone metabolism in the process of bone formation,and activing the OPG / RANKL signaling pathway might be one of the mechanism by which the electroacupuncture at Mingmen point treating the postmenopausal osteoporosis." @default.
