- W2377604665 abstract "[Objective]To investigate knowledge of nutrition,attitude toward nutrition and prandial behaviors of the students in Health Care School,and to provide scientific basis for carrying out nutrition education in the Health Care School.[Methods]By random sampling,students were investigated with questionnaires in Sichuan Health Care School.[Results]The nutrition knowledge of these students who had received nutrition lessons mainly sourced from teachers accounted for 71.9%,magazines for 54.3% and families for 39.4%;those who had not received nutrition lessons mainly sourced from families accounted for 52.6%,and classmates or friends for 28.6%.The nutrition knowledge and attitude of the students were associated with nutrition lessons.There were significant difference between receiving nutrition courses and not receiving nutrition lessons(P﹤0.05) .The students without having nutrition lessons were lack of understanding of the relationship between the nutrition and disease;All the students investigated showed good attitude toward nutrition,and accepting nutrition education and service;the food-frequency table showed there was not significant difference among different grades,majors,areas and gender.According to the prediction on the future pattern of food choice,the students who had received nutrition courses will be more of rational nutrition,on the contrary,other students turn to relatively high consumption of meat,fostering an apparently monotonous dietary pattern.[Conclusion]It is necessary and feasible to provide nutrition education for the students of different majors in Health Care School;In order to achieve desirable results,nutrition education should be included in the specialized teaching Plans and syllabus as required courses." @default.
