- W2377763411 abstract "Objective To research the densities and the seasonal variation of flies in Wuyishan City.Methods The densities of the population and consistence of species were investigated at different environments in the airport and 3 communitis.The seasonal variation of the population were surveied in every ten day.The index of density were calculated in the number/cage/day by the baiting cage.Results Total 13 929 and 48 species were caught in four different environments in Wuyishan city in 2002～2003,which belonged to 6 families and 26 genera.The average index of density was 48.36.Chrysomyia megacephala was the dominant species,which was 43.07% in the total amount.The activity was found from March,the peaking were in April to October,but it could not be found from December to February.Only Musca domestica was 8.08% in the total amount,which began to be active in February,and the peaking were in April and a small peaking in October,but it couldn't be found from December to January.The activity of Aldrichina grahami was found in the winter and spring,and the peaking was in March and April.Conclusion Chrysomyia megacephala was the dominant species in various environments,and the peaking of the population density was in summer and autumn.It was important that the environments should be administered to control the density of population." @default.
