- W2377776971 abstract "There are many theories about infections and endogenous diseases scattering in different volumes in the Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases,in which epigastric fullness,up-rushing gas syndrome and blood amassment are the three diseases closely related to modern clinical medicine. Distention under heart is the primary symptom of epigastric fullness, which is always caused by evil Qi invading the middle burner,Qi movement block and Qi disorder. Epigastric fullness is common in chronic gastritis, functional dyspepsia, peptic ulcer, gastroptosis, etc.,but when diagnosed,it should be distinguished with thoracic obstruction( as myocardial infarction),chest bind( as acute abdomen),knotted abdomen( as gastroenteric tumor)and so on. Up-rushing gas syndrome, whose causes are cold, fright, kidney deficiency, the disorder of Qi movement,is similar to disorder of autonomic nervous system, heart failure, incomplete mechanical intestinal obstruction, cerebral embolism and cranial nerve dysfunction in mainstream medicine and it should be treated from some related viscera just as heart, liver and kidney. Blood amassment,a kind of blood stasis, results from the mixture of blood and heat in exopathic diseases. The pathological changes of blood amassment may occur in the triple burner, all the meridians and their corresponding viscera, not restricted to the lower burner. A lot of enlightenment could be obtained from the therapy of blood amassment." @default.
