Employing a sample of216 firms in China,this paper presents evidence indicating that overseas network embeddedness including structural embeddedness and relationship embeddedness plays an important role in explaining overseas knowledge acquisition,and cooperative capabilities plays a mediating role in the relationships between overseas network embeddedness( structural embeddedness,and relationship embeddedness) and knowledge acquisition.
