- W2378034342 abstract "On the basis of time series analysis and within the five-variable system,this paper empirically tests the relationship between international trade and employment in China over the period of 1978-2009.The results indicate that there is a long-term co-integration relationship among the employment,the export,the import,the fixed asset investment and the real GDP;the import and the entire society's fixed asset investment is the lateral Granger cause of the employment.The employment is the Granger cause of the export.The policy implication is that the stratege of export-led employment greatly enhances the effective domestic demand,and stimulates domestic consumption.In the foreign trade development strategy,the employment structure to promote structural upgrading of export commodities can be upgraded." @default.
