- W2378680879 abstract "Objective To evaluate the repairing effects of acellular dermal matrix on the massive rotator cuff tear of rabbits.Methods Forty two adult male New Zealand white rabbits were divided randomly into 3 groups: the conventional surgery group of the massive rotator cuff tear(control group, n =18), the group treated with acellular dermal matrix(experimental group,n =18) and the normal group(normal group, n =6). Twelve side rotator cuff samples were selected randomly in batches from each group after 4, 8 and 12 weeks after operation to perform the biomechanical test. Results The biomechanical test showed that the breaking load of the tendon-bone interface in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group at all time points after operation and the difference was statistically significant( P 0.01). But the breaking load of the tendon-bone interface at 12 week was still lower than normal group(P 0.05). Conclusion In terms of repairing the massive rotator cuff tear of rabbits, acellular dermal matrix can enhance the tensile load of the tendon-bone interface, thus benefiting the healing of the massive rotator cuff tear." @default.
