- W2378869294 abstract "Objective: To extract and analyze a water-soluble polysaccharide PS1 from phellinus pini and to study its immunity activity. Methods: PS1 was extracted from phellinus pini in the hot water, purified by DEAE- cellulose and sepharose CL-4B column, and analyzed by GC and FT-IR method. The effects of PS1 on the phagocytic activity to Congo red, B lymphocyte proliferation response and immune organ index were evaluated in normal and immunosuppressed mice by intraperitoneal injection of PS1. Results: PS1 is a MW 230kDaβ-heteropolysaccharide with 70.36％total carbohydrate and 4.69％protein. The carbohydrates were made up of rhamnose, arabinose, xylose, mannose ,galactose , glucose, with the molarity ratio of 2.14:2.36:0.44:4.28:5.17:85.61. There were obvious increase in spleen index, and thymus index (P0.01) in healthy mice model while no obvious change in weak mice model . PS1 could enhance the phagocytic capacity of phagocytic cell in both models (P0.01). In addition, PS1 could improve the proliferating activity of spleen cell in vitro significantly (P0.01). Conclusion: PS1 extracted from phellinus pini can enhance the immunological properties, so it can be applied in medical and health care fields widely as a biological effect regulator." @default.
