- W2378937701 abstract "Portfolio has been advocated effective in formative assessment to evaluate learning and teaching and cultivate students' awareness of autonomous and reflective learning.Based on this background,the study chose one class of English majors in Anhui Science and Technology University to investigate the influence portfolio exerts on their study of linguistics.The result shows that the students' awareness of autonomous and reflective learning was strengthened greatly.Meanwhile,portfolio contributed a lot to their persistence in planning and carrying out their study.Most of the students considered it to be an effective assessment.Some problems were also found.Firstly,although the students' awareness of autonomous and reflective learning was cultivated,the experimental period was not long enough for the awareness to become real action completely.A few students didn't understand the purposes and functions of the assessment,which impaired the effect of portfolio." @default.
