- W2379556152 abstract "In this paper, the effects of sieve-plate hole diameter (2～8mm), free area(10～32%), plate spacing(2.5～10mm), hole shape(flat plate and nozzle plate), plate wettability and pulse intensity on the mass transfer of the pulsed sieve-plate extraction column are studied in the systems of 30%TBP/ OK-HNO_3 and 30%TBP/OK-UO_2(NO_3)_2-HNO_3 respectively·When the operation throughputs are same in the I type column,minimum HETS is nearly independent of cartridge structure. In suitable cartridge geometry (K= 2～3) and pulse intensity, mass transfer efficiency of the Ⅱ type column is near to that of the Ⅰ type column, and resident time ot the Ⅱ type column is shorter, but mass transfer of the column is poorer in the Ⅱ type column when K value is larger. In the pulsed sieve-plate column of larger diameter, sieveplate with hole diameter above 3mm is better choice." @default.
