- W2379754032 abstract "Objective To summarize the effect of the super thin and light-weight polypropylene mesh for Lichtenstein tension-free hernioplasty.Methods Two hundred and thirty patients (two hundred and sixty four times) with Lichtenstein tension-free hernia repairment use the super thin and light-weight pol- ypropylene mesh under local anaesthesia were analyzed.To observe the operation time,operation adaption, operation method,conformability of belly flaps and instauration of patient 's independent ability after opera- tion,pain degree of wound,complication after operation,unwell feeling of incision after operation,hospitali- zation time and relapse rate.Results The operation time is average 35 minutes (20 ~ 50 minutes).The patients can immediately have a movement 2 ~ 4 hours after operation.No one has urine retention after opera- tion and there is no death in the surgical operation period.No one has complications such as liquid loading, haematoma or wound infection.Fourteen patients only use one piece of Tylenol and are discharged after 1 ~ 2 days.No one has recurrence or the feeling of foreign body during the follow-up 6 ~ 18 months. Conclusions The super thin and light-weight polypropylene mesh for the Lichtenstein tension-free hernia re- pairment not only have the advantage of the common tension-free hernioplasty,but also have another advan- tage such as little dosage of mesh,little complication after operation,low expenses of the artificial material, the movement of belly flaps is free from limit,little unwell feeling of foreign body and little pain of wound. And it has the advantage of raising sufferer' s satisfaction obviously,suiting for the old people with inguinal hernia especially." @default.
