- W2380386885 abstract "Objective To research the effect of different posture nursing to decrease Ventilator Associated Pneumonia and hospitalization time.Methods 97 cases of newborn treated by mechanical ventilation in NICU were divided into 3 groups: 44 cases in the general posture group,bed head angled 30°, 29 cases in the semi-reclining position group,bed head angled 30°～45°,24 cases in the reform-type posture group,bed head angled 30°～45°while changing posture as lateral recumbent position →semi-reclining position→right lateral position.The VAP incidence rates of these groups were compared.Results The VAP incidence rate of the semi-reclining position group and the reform-type posture group were lower than the general posture group obviously(χ2=4.51 or 6.91,P0.05).The hospitalization time of the reform-type posture group were shorter than that of the general posture group and the semi-reclining position group(q=7.08 or 3.71,P0.05).Conclusion Bed head angled can decrease the VAP incidence rate of who were treated by mechanical ventilation in NICU.Changing posture can improve ventilation function,reduce complication and decrease hospitalization time." @default.
