- W2380780417 abstract "The possibility of in vitro maturation of tomato immature pollen was studied.After pollen at early binucleate stage isolated from tomato flowers had been in vitro cultured in the liquid medium B3 for 7~9 days,1% immature pollen maturated and germinated pollen tubes.At the same time,proteins extracted from pollen at different developmental stages were separated by SDS-PAGE.The electrophoresis spectrums indicated: Pollen at uninucleate stage appeared five special proteins which the molecular weights were 21.2 kD,26.0 kD,33.4 kD,69.1 kD and 97.1 kD.The proteins of 11.7 kD,16.9 kD,37.3 kD,41.2 kD and 47.1 kD appeared in pollen at binucleate stage.Three proteins of 20.5 kD,82.8 kD and 105.3 kD were expressed at the stage of germination of pollen.Protein-configuration varied as pollen developed.Many small-molecular weight proteins were expressed in pollen at uninucleate and binucleate stages." @default.
