- W2381451446 abstract "Objective: To investigate the relationship of the blood lipids and cardiovascular complications in patients with type 2diabetes. Methods: 236 cases of type 2 diabetes and 200 cases of healthy control admitted in Sheng Jing Hospital of China Medical University from March 2011to May 2012 were selected, and the levels of fast blood glucose(FBG), cholesterol(CH), triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL) and low density lipoprotein(LDL) were detected and compared. Results: The levels of CH, TG and LDL were significantly higher in the diabetic group than those in control group(P0.01), while the level of HDL was significantly lower than that in control group(P0.01). In diabetic group, the levels of CH, TG, LDL were significantly higher in those with cardiovascular complications than those without complications(P0.01), but the HDL lever was significantly lower(P0.01). The correlation analysis showed that the contents of CH, TG and LDL in patients with type 2 diabetes were positively correlated with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications(r = 0.337, P 0.05; r=0.514, P0.05; r = 0.438, P0.05), while HDL content were negatively correlated with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications(r =-0.237, P 0.05). Conclusion: Significant glucose and lipid metabolism disorders were found in patients with type 2 diabetes, and blood lipid levels are closely related to the occurrence of cardiovascular in patients with type 2 diabetes, suggesting that detection the lipid levels of patients with type 2 diabetes help prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases." @default.
