• W2381916602 abstract "Objective To understand the mental health and its influential factors on male nursing students in medical college. Method SCL-90 and self-made questionnaire were applied to survey the mental health status of 26 male and 33 female nursing students. Results In all nursing students, the items in SCL-90 like obsessive state, anxiety, phobic anxiety and psychoticism were significantly scored higher than Chinese norm.(P0.01 or P0.05) The items such as obsessive state and psychoticism in male students and obsessive state, phobic and psychoticism in female students were significantly higher comparing with domestic norm(P0.01 or P0.05). The item of phobic in male students was lower than that in female students. Conclusion The nursing students of medical college should be provided with psychological guidance so as to accelerate their maturity in mental health. Male nursing students have advantage relatively to female nursing students." @default.
