- W2381932600 abstract "Objective To construct the animal model of high pressure intrapelvic perfusion so as to observe the effects of high pressure on nephrons, and to investigate the safe range of intrapelvic perfusion pressure during percutaneous nephrolithotripsy. Methods The animal models of intrapelvic perfusion in pigs were constructed. With 6.67 kPa(50 mm Hg) as a grade of intrapelvic pressure for 10 min,the kidney tissues were obtained by puncture at each pressure status till the pressure reached 40.00 kPa.The morphologic changes of nephrons, including glomeruli,Bowman's capsules and proximal convoluted tubules,at each grade of intrapelvic pressure were observed by optical microscope and transmission electron microscope. Results The nephrons kept intact under the intrapelvic perfusion pressure between 6.67-20.00 kPa.Dilated organelles, formation of cysts in cytoplasm, and falling off microvilli were observed in the proximal tubular epithelial cell with intrapelvic perfusion pressure at 26.66 kPa.The capsule, glomerular filtration membrane and proximal tubule injury were all observed when intrapelvic pressure reached 33.33-40.00 kPa.Conclusions Nephron structure damage would occur when intrapelvic perfusion pressure exceeds 26.66 kPa(200 mm Hg).It should be careful to maintain the intrapelvic pressure lower than 26.66 kPa during percutaneous nephrolithotripsy for protecting the nephron from injury by high intrapelvic perfusion pressure." @default.
