- W2382515883 abstract "Objective To study the effect of vocational status and family economic income on cognitive function of patients with acute cerebrovascular disease (ACVD). Methods The cognitive function of 183 patients with ACVD was evaluated with the scale of elderly cognitive function (SECF) and the mini mental state examination (MMSE). Results The scores of the SECF and MMSE of patient with ACVD decreased obviously. The scores of SECF and MMSE of workers and peasants were significantly lower than those of cadres, technicians and service workers. The scores of SECF and MMSE of the group whose family income per person is less than 300 and 300～499 yuan was obviously lower than those of the group whose family income per person is 800～1199 yuan. Conclusions The cognitive function of the patients with ACVD is obviously harmed. The vocational status and family economic income are closely related with the cognitive function, and the vocational status such as cadres and technicians and higher economic income have protective effect on cognitive function of ACVD." @default.
