- W2382766687 abstract "【Objective】To study the effects of enteral nutritional support in patients with postsurgical gastro-pare-sis syndrome.【Methods】The therapy of 22 patients with postsurgical gastro-paresis syndrome were analyzed retro-spectively,12 cases received EN support,the other 10 cases received PN. All patients were given the corresponding quantity of calorie and nitrogen according to the weight. The general nutrition condition,dosage of albumin,prealbu-min,lymphocyte count transferrin,expense and so on were recorded. 【Results】There is no significant differences in the nutrition index between the two patient groups before the therapy. The prealbumin of patients in the EN group was significantly higer than that of the PN group a week later,and the dosage of prealbumin,transferring and lymphocyte count were significantly higer than which of PN group two weeks later (P 0.05). The therapy course with PN ranged 11～28 days,mean time was 20 days. The other group with EN ranged 8～19 days,mean time was 14 days,which obvi-ously shorter than PN. In addition,Enteral nutrition was more economic than parenteral nutrition (P 0.05).【Conclusion】It is better for patients with postsurgical gastro-paresis syndrome to be treated with EN than PN." @default.
