- W2382833382 abstract "The studies were conducted in early rice and late rice.Three two line hybrid rice combinations (Zao S/T113,Xuxuan S/T113 and 810S/T113) were used in the study of early rice. Three two line hybrid rice combinations (Lu 18S/1125,Peiai64S/1125 and Zhu 1S/1125) and their restoring line 1125 were used in the study of late rice. The relations between the grain filling and the transfer of usable carbohydrate (soluble sugar+starch) in stems and sheaths, and the transfusion tissue were studied. The main results are as follows:(1) Grain filling rate can be used as an index of high yield varieties, but the maximal filling rate and the average filling rate should be considered at the same time.(2)The reduction of time difference of two step filling is helpful to improve grain plumpness and seed setting rate.(3) The higher carbohydrate/spikelet ratio is the premise of accelerating grain filling. Improving carbohydrate/spikelet ratio before heading stage and accelerating usable carbohydrate transfer usable carbohydrate to grains at the beginning of filling are helpful to activate the activities of grains, accelerate filling, reduce unfilled grain and improve grain plumpness.(4) As to carbohydrate transfer, the function of transfusion tissue is different in different combinations. The little flow has an impact on the carbohydrate transfer in early rice, but the flow is sufficient to transfer carbohydrate in late rice. The space of flow can be enlarged through cultivating bigger stem in production." @default.
