- W2382885107 abstract "Objective To study the levels of serum interleukin-2 and soluble interleukin-2 receptor (SIL-2R) in recurrent patients with simple herpetic keratitis. Methods The interleukin-2 and soluble interleukin-2 receptor(SIL-2R) in 30 cases of recurrent simple herpetic keratitis experimental group and 25 cases of healthy persons (control group) were determined. Results The serum IL-2 level was 5. 41 ±1. 45mg±L -1 in normal group,and 2. 80±1. 47mg·L -1 in the patients with recurrent simple herpetic keratitis. The serum IL-2 level in recurrent simple herpetic keratitis was significantly lower than that in normal group (t=2. 90, P＜0. 01 ). The serum SlL-2R level was 90. 86 ±17. 90mg· L -1 in normal group and 171. 46 ± 19. 30mg'· L －1 in the patients with recurrent simple herpetic keratitis. The serum SIL-2 level in recurrent simple herpetic keratitis was significantly higher than that in normal group (t = 5. 17, P＜0. 01 ). Conclusions Immune function of recurrent simple herpetic keratitis is lower than that of healthy people. A significant decrease in IL-2 level and a significant increase in SIL-2R level maybe one of causes of this condition. The findings can provide foundation for immunotherapy." @default.
