- W2382986966 abstract "Objective To explore a micro-operation to treat children's inguinal hernia and hydrocele. Methods To investigate the clinical date of 1800 cases being performed operation with small incision on transverse stripe of abdomen that suffered from indirect inguinal hernia and hydrocele. Their age was between 8 months to 7 years old. Rusults 1440 cases of indirect inguinal hernia were performed the operation, 21cases were recurrent ,the cure rate was 98.5%, and the recurrence rate 1.5%.The cure rate of hydrocele was 100%. Scrotal hematoma was found in 2 cases.2 cases were found of incision infection. The average operation time was 10 minutes. The follow-up survey Lasted 1～3years.The skin scar could not be seen clearly in the original incision. Conclusion The indication of the operation with small incision on transverse stripe of hernia and hydrocele was the children whose age between 8 months to 7 years old. The advantages of this kind of operation were that the injury of operation was slight, the operation time was short and the skin scan could not be seen clearly." @default.
