- W2383477476 abstract "The investigations of the corrosion under three conditions of single ion, multiple ions and complicated water system using wastewater from refinery plant as circulating cooling water have reached some conclusions. The major affecting factors on corrosion are the characteristics of ions, the formation of coating and the diffusion rate of dissolved oxygen. The rate of corrosion strongly depends on the total effects of their cooperation and competition. And the characteristics of ions have the strongest effect among of the three factors, for example: the corrosions of Cl -,Ca 2+ and CO 3 2- are stronger than any other ions. The range of conductivity in which the corrosion readily occurs is 0.1～2.0 mS/cm. Under the conditions of low conductivity,the corrosion rate of steel always displays higher value, contradictorily under the conditions of high conductivity." @default.
