- W2383652105 abstract "The interaction of eosin Y with chlorpromazine hydrochloride was investigated by spectrophotometry and a new method for the determination of chlorpromazine hydrochloride was described.In acidic medium,chlorpromazine hydrochloride reacted with eosin Y to produce an ion-association by virtue of electrostatic attraction and hydrophobic interaction.The stoichiometric ratio of the compounds was 1∶2 and the maximal absorption wavelength was at 512 nm,e= 3.21×104 L/(mol·cm).Beer's law was obeyed in a range of 0.32～9.20 mg /L of chlorpromazine hydrochloride.The linear regression equation was A =-0.187 2-0.091 69 C(mg/L),with a linear correlation coefficient of 0.999 0.The detection limit was 0.095 mg/L,RSD was 0.98%(4.0 mg/L,n=11) and recovery was 98.6%～101.6%.This method was characterized by simplicity and rapidity of reaction and had been successfully applied to the determination of chlorpromazine hydrochloride in pharmaceutical samples with satisfactory results." @default.
