- W2383713122 abstract "Objective To investigate the protective effect of carbon monoxide releasing molecule( CORM) on viral myocarditis( VMC) mice,and explore its mechanisms. Methods Fifty- five 4- week old male BALB / C mice were randomly divided into normal control group, blank control group and CORM intervention group, each of 15 mice. VMC experimental models were made,and then CORM intervention group given CORM intraperitoneal injection( 0. 1 ml),normal control group and blank control group given DMSO intraperitoneal injection( 0. 1 ml). Incidence of death was recorded, serum of cardiac troponin I( c Tn I) level and myocardial homogenate levels of malondialdehyde( MDA), superoxide dismutase( SOD),glutathione- peroxidase( GSH- Px), catalase( CAT), IL- 1β, IL- 6, IL- 18, tumor necrosis factor- α( TNF- α)were detected,myocardial lesions score was calculated. Results The mortality of normal control group and CORM intervention group was lower than that of blank control group,respectively( P 0. 05). Serum c Tn I level,myocardial lesions score of blank control group were higher than those of normal control group and CORM intervention group, and those of CORM intervention group were higher than those of normal control group( P 0. 05). Myocardial homogenate MDA level of blank control group was higher than that of normal control group and CORM intervention group,respectively,while SOD,GSH- Px,CAT were lower( P 0. 05); myocardial homogenate MDA level of CORM intervention group was higher than that of normal control group,while SOD,GSH- Px,CAT were lower( P 0. 05). Myocardial homogenate levels of IL- 1β,IL- 6,IL- 18,TNF- α of blank control group were higher than that of normal control group and CORM intervention group, respectively, and those index of CORM intervention group were higher than those of normal control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion CORM can reduce the mortality and myocardial damage of VMC mice, has certain protective effect; its possible mechanisms including control lipid peroxidation and reduce inflammatory reaction." @default.
