- W2384164061 abstract "Objective:To study if carmustine(BCNU)have antitumor effect on 9L glioma cell in vitro,and investigate it's mechanism.Methods:9L glioma cell line were treated by BCNU with different concentrations and at different times.Effects of BCNU on cell growth was observed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) method,Morphological Changes of 9L glioma cell apoptosis were observed by transmission electron microscope,Hoechst 33342/PI staining and TUNEL;The apoptosis rates was detected by Annexin - v-FITC/PI assay.Results:MTT method showed that BCNU at the concentration of 0.5～8.0 μmol/L could inhibit the growth of 9L glioma cell line remarkably.The results of electron microscope、Hoechst 33342/PI staining and TUNEL all indicate significant apoptosis morphological changes of 9L glioma cells;The apoptosis rates were obtained by Annexin-V-FITC/PI assay,which showed that Apoptosis rates of 9L glioma cell line was significantly elevated with increase of action time and concentration of BCNU.Conclusion:BCNU could significantly inhibit the growth of 9L glioma cell line in vitro,and the main cause may induce apoptosis of 9L cell on time and dose-dependent manner." @default.
