- W2384170218 abstract "Hazardous environmental pollution metal materials caused by electronic waste recycling site could transport between the soil and crop system, and the metal also threatened human health through the food chain. In-depth study of the mechanism of heavy metal accumulation attributes to the theory and practical basis for controlling metal to transport during food chain and lessening the healthy threaten derived from heavy metal. The soil was collected with a distance of 2, 20, 40 and 50 m separately from e-waste dump sites and the uncontaminated soil was also collected for comparing. The toxicological Cd, Cu, Pb, Zn, and Cr response of Ipomoea aquatica was conducted in the laboratory with plastic basin. The results indicated that five heavy metals distribution in water spinach planted on e-waste contaminated soil was root stem leaf and the highest enrichment factor was belonged to root which also acuminate Cu and Zn at a higher level. Furthermore, the paddy soil contributed to a higher bio-concentration; under the stress of the heavy metal contamination, the leaf form changed dramatically while the height among the plant was not significant, and photosynthetic capacity of spinach decreased obviously at the same time: the content of chlorophyll in the plant planted on the soil of 2, 20, 40 and 50 m from the e-waste dump sites were 44.0%, 74.2%, 75.4%, 88.7%, and 74.1%, separately, to the control group's; the plant could well adjusted to the heavy metal polluted soil and the parameter of catalase and peroxidase activities were similar: the activity of catalase and peroxidase increased with the higher level of soil polluted by e-waste." @default.
