- W2384202617 abstract "Objective To investigate the effects of reduced glutathione and polyene phosphatidylcholine on nonalcoholic steatohepatisis in high-diet rats, and explore the possible mechanisms. Methods Normal male SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control group(N,n=10),model group(M,n=10),reduced glutathione treatment group(GSH,n=10),polyene phosphatidylcholine treatment group(PPC,n=10).All rats of model group(M group) and treatment groups(GSH and PPC groups) were fed with high-fat diet.Treatment groups were given reduced glutathione and polyene phosphatidylcholine at week 12 respectively, and all rats were sacrificed at week 20.The liver steatosis, inflammation and fibrosis were observed by HE stain and Masson stain.Malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),serum tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),triglyceride(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) were measured. Results Compared with model group, liver wet weight, viscera fat quality,TNF-α,TG,liver inflammation and liver fibrosis in treatment groups improved significantly(P0.01).Compared with model group,MDA and SOD in reduced glutathione group improved significantly(P0.01).Conclusion Reduced glutathione and polyene phosphatidylcholine are beneficial to the recovery of liver function and can be used to improve nonalcoholic steatohepatitis in rats." @default.
