- W2384291696 abstract "Objective To explore the relationship between PP and large artery distensibility and endothelial function in patientes with hypertension Methods One hundred and nine patients with hypertension were recruited, 56 male, 53 female with mean age of 60 8±6 2 years old All patients were categorized into 4 groups by PP: Group 1, PP45 mmHg( n =20);group 2,45～65 mmHg(%n%=34);group 3,65～85 mmHg(%n%=34) and group 4, PP85 mmHg(%n%=2) All patients were underwent B mode ultrasonic investigation to scan carotid artery The diameter of brachial artery and blood flow during reactive hyperemia and after sublingual glyceryl trinitrite were measured Result In the patients of 2 higher quartiles of group 1 and group 2, the diastolic diameter(DD) of carotid artery was greater than that of patients in 2 lower quartiles, which was in accompany with a smaller differences between diastolic and systolic diameter (DS D) and DS D/DD Among the various parameter of BP, such as SBP, DBP, MAP and PP, the correlation of PP with IMT was the strongest In the patients with greater PP, the less flow mediated dilation(flow MD) was found Conclusion Greater PP was closely related to decreases in distensability in large artery and a reduction in endothelial function in patients with hypertension" @default.
