- W2384328203 abstract "The industry wastewater of CH3OH from a relevant plant has been innovatively treated by O/A process of biocontact oxi-dation—air tower of biocontact oxidation—flocculation—sediment—filtration of active carbon system. The biodegradability of the influent can be significantly increased by the O/A process of biocontact oxidation,and the COD can be predominantly removed by the air tower of biocontact oxidation process. On the other hand,the residual COD can be further removed by the consequent bio-processes. The biodegradation mechanism playes the predominantly important role in the removal of the substrate and chemical oxygen demand,and the subsequently coupled filtration of active carbon system as the further treatment process can promise the complete purification of the pollutant. The results from the corresponding investigation show the employed system can steadily pro-duce effluents up to the national standards of reused water for cool tower under the condition of pH 6～10,SS 30～100 mg·L-(1Wt.%),CODcr 200～500 mg·L-1 and CH3OH 0.03% ～5% and ordinary temperature 26～32 ℃ for the wastewater." @default.
