• W2384347752 abstract "Objective: To investigate the safety of retention of pelvic autonomic nerves in radical operation for early cervical cancer and the effects on bladder,rectum and sexual function. Method: 80 eligible patients were selected and divided into observation group and control group,40 patients in each group; the control group used traditional radical operation for cervical cancer,while the observation group used radical operation for cervical cancer combined with retention of pelvic autonomic nerves,and the general conditions of the operations and postoperative conditions of bladder,rectum and sexual function and so on of the two groups were compared. Result: The differences in intra- operative blood loss,number of cut- off lymph nodes,length of cut- off parauterine tissue and length of cut- off vagina in the patients of the two groups were statistically insignificant( P 0. 05),but the operative time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group,postoperative length of stay of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). The extubation time of indwelling urinary catheter of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,the maximum bladder capacity and the maximum urinary flow rate after extubation of indwelling urinary catheter of the observation group were greater than those of the control group,residual urine volume of the observation group was less than that of the control group,and all the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). The postoperative time of passage of gas by anus and that for defecation of the observation group were( 60. 04 ± 5. 09)hours and( 93. 52 ± 8. 32) hours respectively,while those of the control group were( 78. 42 ± 6. 83) hours and( 120. 39 ± 10. 40) hours,and the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). 6 months after the operation,In the observation group,the female sexual function index( FSFI) in 22 patients was at level- 0,16 patients were at level- I,and 21 patients were at level- II,while in the control group,12 patients were at level- 0,18 patients were at level- I and 10 patients were at level- II,and the difference were statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Retention of pelvic autonomic nerves in radical operation for cervical cancer can shorten length of stay,promote postoperative recovery of bladder and rectum function,and keep sexual function at utmost." @default.
