- W2384641539 abstract "By Sol-Gel method,PMMA/SiO2 hybrid sol was prepared with tetrethorylsilane(TEOS) and low molecular weight polymer of polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA) as raw materials,vinyltrithorysilane(VTEOS) as coupling agent,after being aged,PMMA/SiO2?hybrid fibers were prepared by drawing from the hybrid sol.The mechanism of the hybrid reaction,spinnablity of the hybrid sol,structure and micromorphology of the fiber were studied by FT-IR,SEM,TGA and DSC.The results show that the hybrid sol can be drawn into fibers when its viscosity becomes 180 Pa·s～300 Pa·s,PMMA is linked with SiO2?network by chemical bonds,in the interior of the fiber,a homogeneous and continuous phase is formed by organic and inorganic components,and the hybrid fiber is better in resistance to heat than pure PMMA." @default.
