- W2385207836 abstract "The adsorption properties of polar macroporous adsorptive resin XDA-8 for pure caffeine was studied by static experiments and the feasibility to use XDA-8 resin in the recovery of caffeine dissolved in methylating mother liquid was discussed.Static adsorption and elution experiments showed that caffeine could be well adsorbed on XDA-8 resin at pH 6～7,the maximum theoretical capacity reached 432.9 mg/g dry resin in neutral medium at 293 K.Higher temperature lowered the adsorption capacity of XDA-8 resin for caffeine.Kinetic study showed the adsorption was controlled by liquid film diffusion.Dynamic experiments showed that XDA-8 resin could adsorb 100% and 97.5% of the caffeine dissolved in 4BV and 6BV methylating mother liquid,and the resin could be eluted entirely with 60% ethanol solution." @default.
