- W2385260129 abstract "In this paper three new tetranychid mites of the genera Bryobia, Schizateranychus and Tenuipalpoides collected from the Hengduan mountains, China are described, moreover the last genus is reported for the first time from China. The notation system for the dorsal and ventrocausal setae by Pritchard and Baker (1955) and that by Grandjean (1939) are both adopted in this paper.Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.1. Bryobia hengduanensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-10)Female Propodosomal lobes weakly developed, the outer lobes not reaching the incision between inner lobes. The solenidion (ω) longer than other setae on tarsus of palp. Peritreme pear-shaped, with small chambers. Dorsal setae long except 2 pairs of propodosomals. All setae pubescent, located on tubercles. Dorsocentral hysterosomals (c1, d1, e1) being the longest of all hysterosomals. Sacral and clunal setae (f1-2, h1) located at the margian of opisthosoma. Leg Ⅰ shorter than body. Duplex setae on tarsi Ⅲ and Ⅳ consisting of a distal sensory seta and an associated tactile seta, the length subequal on tarsus Ⅲ, but the sensory seta half as long as tactile seta on tarsus Ⅳ.Male Unknown.Holotype ♀, Ⅶ.29.1982, Yunnan (Deqen, 28°N, 98°E, 4100m), on Anaphalis sp., para-types 30♀♀, 16 nymphs, 5 larvae, data same as for holotype; 2♀♀, Ⅶ. 20. 1982, Yunnan (De-qen, 2200m), on Urtica sp.; 6♀♀, 10 nymphs, Ⅶ.3.1982, Sichuan (Xiangcheng, 28°N, 99°E, 3800-4000m), on Artemisia sp.; 2♀♀, Ⅵ.17.1982, Sichuan (Xiangcheng, 2900m), on Zan-thoxylum bungeanum. This new species is similar to B. nasrvasensis Bagdasarian (1960, Azerbaijan) in weakly developed propodosomal lobes, the shape of peritreme and dorsal setae, dorsocentral setae (c1, d1, e1) longer than others, but it differs from the latter as follows: 1. the outer lobe setae on propodosoma (v2) little longer or subequal to the inner lobe setae (v1); 2. inner lobe more developed; 3. sacral setae (f1-2) located. at the posterior margin of the body; 4. distal sensory seta on tarsus Ⅳ associated with proximal tactile seta; 5. the number of the setae on legs different; 6. leg Ⅰ shorter than body.2. Tenuipalpoides hastata sp. nov. (figs. 11-24)Female Palp with terminal sensillum one and a half as long as wide; dorsal sensillum shorter than terminal one; spine-like setae strong, longer than terminal sensillum.Peritreme obscure, indescribable. The second and third dorsal propodosomals (sc1, sc2), humeral setae (c3) and all dosocentral hysterosomals foliated, rounded distally, but the first propodosomals (v2) and all dorsolateral hysterosomals (c2, d2, e2), sacral setae (f1-2 ) and clunal setae (h1) lanceola- ta, acute distally, with a medium rib and serrated edgelly. All dorsal setae arising on tubercles. Dorsocentral hysterosomal setae much shorter than dorsolateral hysterosomals. Four pairs of lyrifissures conspicuous, ia, im, ip on dorsum, and ih on opisthosomal venter. Sensory and tactile setee of duplex setae of tarsi Ⅰ, Ⅱ arising from the same alveoli.Male Unknown.Holotype ♀, Ⅵ.6.1982, Cichuan (Daocheng, 29°N, 100°E, 4100m), on Caragana sinica. In the genus Tenuipalpoides three known species are: T. zizyphus Reck et Bagdasarian (1948, Armenia), T. dorychaeta Pritchard et Baker (1955, Louisiana) and T. sebakwensis Meyer (1979, Zimbabwe). The new species collected from Sichuan, China is easy distinguished from above known species by the following.characters: the shape and length of dorsocentral hysterosomals (c1, d1, e1) differ from dorsolateral hysterosomals (c2, d2, e2), sacral setae (f1-2) and clunal setae (h1); the reticulate sculpture on dorsum obscured and the setation of legs different.3. Schizotetranychus elongatus sp. nor. (figs. 25-33)Female Palp with terminal sensillum two times as long as wide; dorsal sensillum shorter than terminal one. Peritreme enlarge distally. Dorsal setae equal to or slightly longer than intervals between their bases. Humeral setae (c3) being the longest of all dorsal setae, the second and third dorsolateral hysterosomals (d2, e2) longer than" @default.
