- W2385411829 abstract "Objective To observe the influence of lycium barbarum polysaccharide on blood glucose and immune function of diabetic rats. Methods 12 Wister rats were selected from 70 as the control group. The other rats were prepared for type 1 diabetes mellitus after receiving intravenous injection of STZ.After seven days,48 rats with blood glucose 11.1 mmol / L were randomly divided into model group, polysaccharide high dose group, middle dose goup and low dose group with each 12 rats. After intervention experiment, the blood glucose, spleen index, thymus index, spleen lymphocyte conversion rate and peripheral blood T lymphocyte were compared between each group. Results At the beginning of modeling, the rats used for the modeling showed significantly higher blood glucose(P 0.01),indicating successful modeling.(1) Compared with the model group, the blood glucose in polysaccharide group at week 2 and week 4 was reduced, but there was no significant difference between polysaccharide groups(P 0.05).(2) Thymus index and spleen lymphocyte stimulation index in polysaccharide group were significantly higher than the model group(P 0.01).(3) The CD 3,CD 4 and CD 4 / CD 8 in polysaccharide group were significantly higher than the model group, the CD 8 in polysaccharide group was significantly lower than the model group(P 0.05).Conclusion Lycium barbarum polysaccharide can reduce blood glucose level, and it may be due to the improvement of immune function of diabetic rats." @default.
