- W2386203612 abstract "Objective:To study the value of real-time digital image acquisition and cine replaying technique in the diagnosis of esophageal dieases.Methods:40 patients were examined by SHIMADZU Digital GI imaging System (DGIS).The patients gulped barium suspension in the upright position when real-time digital images were acquired with 7.5F/S.Double contrast views and motor functional views were studied with cine replaying. Results:Of the 40 patients, there were esophageal carcinoma (n=16),stenosis of anastomotic stoma after esophageal carcinoma surgery (n=14),esophageal diverticulum (n=2),esophageal varicosis (n=5) achalasia (n=2) and diffuse esophageal spasm (n=1).Part of the patients (n=26) were confirmed by esophagoscopy and pathologic findings,14 cases of stenosis of anastomotic stoma after surgery due to esophageal carcinoma were confirmed by clinical follow-up.The main X-ray findings were abnormal esophageal contour and mucosal changes presented on double contrast esophagography.Characteristic motor dysfunction were observed on functional views. Conclusion:Comprehensive image information of esophagus could be obtained using real-time digital image acquisition and cine replaying technique, which showed advantages in the clinical diagnosis of esophageal diseases. Moreover, digital pictures are more convenient to be transferred and stored." @default.
