- W2386757412 abstract "Objective To observe the effects of activin A on hepatic stellate cell(HSC)line LX-2 proliferation.Methods Cultured HSC LX-2 cells were divided into two groups:normal control group and activin A intervention group.The activin A intervention group contained different concentrations of activin A 1,2.5,5,10,20,40,80,160,320 μg/L respectively.Cell proliferation was measured by cell counting kit-8(CCK-8).Then five concentrations of activin A(25,50,100,200,300 μg/L) were selected to intervene LX-2 cells at 24,48,72 h respectively,cell proliferation was also measured by CCK-8.Results Data from CCK-8 showed that activin A could promote LX-2 cells proliferation at concentrations from 1 μg/L to 320 μg/L.Slight effects were observed at concentrations of 1～2.5 μg/L(P0.05),but significantly increased was shown from 80 μg/L to 320 μg/L(P0.01).In cell index vegetal period,activin A showed time concentration-dependent stimulation effect.Conclusion Activin A may contribute to hepatic fibrogenesis by stimulating the proliferation of HSC." @default.
