• W2386917166 abstract "[Objective] To explore risk factors which influence community residents’ AIDS related knowledge and atti-tude, and to provide evidence for making reasonable prevention policy or strategy of AIDS. [Methods] Residents in north Jiangsu province and the neighboring 7 areas were involved in this study. Of each area, one community was selected with strati-fied random cluster sampling method. Finally 1 595 qualified questionnaires were collected. [Results] According to analysis of path analysis, the residents’ AIDS related knowledge had a positive relationship with their education as well as health education level .The residents who got higher scores of knowledge and higher level of education acquired higher scores of attitude; and residents with fear feeling to AIDS got relatively low scores. [Conclusion] The basic measures to prevention AIDS at present are still based on improving education continuously. Health education to the weakness should be strengthened. To eliminate the fear feeling to AIDS is helpful to progress the AIDS prevention work." @default.
