- W2387226328 abstract "Components and contents of soluble sugars in 50 germplasm of pineapple mature fruits were determined by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The results showed that the major components of soluble sugars in pineapple fruits were fructose,glucose and sucrose,and the sucrose content was the highest value,which accounted for 40.85% ～ 76.89% of the value of total sugars,followed by glucose and fructose.The variation range of sucrose was relatively stable among different germplasm,while the value of fructose and glucose varied greatly,showing as 22.50% and 22.67%,respectively.All the germplasm could be classified into two types based on their sugar composition: sucrose prevalent and monosaccharide prevalent.There were significant positive correlations in components of soluble sugars among total sugar in fruits.Significant positive correlation between the contents of fructose and glucose was also observed.The contents of fructose,glucose and sucrose should be considered simultaneously in evaluation on sugar flavor of pineapple fruits." @default.
