- W2387450278 abstract "In order to study the effect of paper formation on the mechanical strength of aramid sheets and explore a formation test method with better correlation to the mechanical strength of aramid sheets,aramid sheets were first made by using the mixture of meta-aramid short fibers and fibrids,then three different kinds of formation testers were used to obtain the aramid sheets formation,and the correlations between different formation values and the tensile strength and tear strength of aramid sheets were investigated.The results show that the R2 correlation values between tensile strength and tear strength of aramid sheets,their β-ray formation are 0.59 and 0.60,the R2 correlation values between tensile strength and tear strength of aramid sheets and their Micro-Scanner formation are 0.45 and 0.26,and the R2 correlation values between tensile strength and tear strength of aramid sheets and their PPF formation are very small.Therefore,β-ray formation can be applied to predict the mechanical strength of aramid sheets." @default.
