- W2387777650 abstract "Based on the chemical composition of principal ions in acid rain(from February 2007 to January 2008) at a meteorological station located in Malong Village in Liaozhong County of Liaoning Province in northeatern China and ground meteorological conditions during the corresponding period,the correlation between chemical characteristics of precipitation and flow field of the atmospheric boundary-layer was analyzed by different analytical methods on meteorological flow fields.The results indicated that: ① pH of the precipitation had a relationship with wind direction as follows: southerly wind brings more acid precipitation,but alkaline precipitation dominates during northerly wind;precipitation acidity and wind direction in the 850-925 hPa(700-1500 m) height had a strong correlation,and its relationship with near-surface wind direction was not significant;② there was a more significant relationship between pH and ionic composition of precipitation and relative positions of regional weather systems,namely,under the conditions of constant northerly airflows,the atmosphere was affected by the northwest,whereas calcium ion concentration was relatively high if the study area was located east of the west side of the continental anti-cyclone.However,if the study area was located west of the east side of the ocean cyclones,the atmosphere was affected by southeast marine,in which sodium ions concentration was relatively high." @default.
