- W2387815408 abstract "Objective To investigate the job satisfaction of nurses in order to provide information for designing effective motivational programs and improving their job satisfaction.Methods Four hundred and thirty registered nurses from seven 3A-Class general hospitals responded to the cross-sectional survey.Results The scores of intrinsic,extrinsic and general satisfaction were 3.80±0.42,3.64±0.43,3.50±0.57,respectively.There were statistically significant differences in job satisfaction among nurses of different ages,positions,work shifting modes and nature of employment(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion Nurses generally have a relatively lower level of job satisfaction and extrinsic and intrinsic motivational measures should be taken to raise their job satisfaction." @default.
