- W2387907462 abstract "Objective:To develop a method for stimultaneous determination of benzophenone and 4-methyl benzophenone in aqueous food simulants of food packaging by using high performance liquid chromatography.Methods: The samples were extracted by distilled water,10%(v/v)ethanol aqueous solution or 3%(w/v)acetic acid aqueous solution.The extract was separated on a C18 analytical column with a mixture of acetonitrile-water(60∶40,by volume) detected by ultraviolet detector.Results: The limit of detection(S/N=3)for benzophenone and 4-methyl benzophenone in three aqueous food simulants was 0.031 mg/L～0.050 mg/L with a good linear correlation(r≥0.99) in the range of 0.2 mg/L～10 mg/L.The mean recoveries of the two compounds at the spiked level of 0.05 mg/L～10 mg/L were 90.4%～98.5%,with the relative standard deviation less than 2.60%.Conclusion:The method was simple,rapid,accurate and which can satisfy the inspection of benzophenone and 4-methyl benzophenone in food packaging." @default.
