- W2387983375 abstract "Objective:To study the microvasculature in rat's ovaries by light microscope. Methods:After the experimental rats were perfused with compound fixative tannic acid solution, the ovaries were taken out and cut into frozen sections,hen immersed these sections in ferric chloride solution for 10～20 minutes for revealing the microvessels.Results:The different vessels,large and small as well as capillaries were stained successfully by tannic acid.There are a large and thick vessels can be found scattering in medulla,some branch arteries from the large vessels run into the cortex,but a fewer appear in the cortex.These small vessels distributed theca follicle of big folliculi,interstitial gland,corpus luteum and around follicle.The capillary network also appears in theca folliculi.The sinusoid of corpus luteum is similar to that of hepatic lobule.Conclusion:The microvasculature of ovaries can be manifested clearly by tannic acid-ferric chloride staining method.The studies provide a new and simple way for studing the microvasculature and blood supply of ovaries." @default.
