- W2387989149 abstract "Space particle detector on board FengYun2D(FY2D)satellite has the capabilities to observe 10～300 MeV protons and ≥350 keV,≥2 MeV electrons.During the first in-flight test phase,at geosynchronous orbit,energetic electrons showed the typical characteristics of noon-midnight asymmetries and a level 2 solar energetic proton events(SEP)was observed on Dec.15.After the peak of the SEP,the flux of protons with comparatively higher energy decreased more quickly.By comparison the results of FY2D and GOES with different local time at geosynchronous orbit,energetic electrons showed the properties of synchronous disturbance and intense dawn-dusk asymmetry.During the SEP and the quiet time,we analyzed the space particles environment at geosynchronous orbit and compared the correlation of contemporaneous results of FY2D with GOES.The evidence indicates that the instrument has the capabilities of inspecting and warning.And the results can be used to investigate the particles distributions at geosynchronous orbit or to research the particles transport and origin." @default.
